Neil Hillis

Neil Hillis has extensive work experience in the field of information security and architecture. Neil is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and VP Architecture at LiftLab since August 2018. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Proxima Analytics from September 2016 to May 2022. Neil also worked as the Senior Director at Neustar, Inc. from December 2015 to July 2016 and as the VP Analytical Insights at MarketShare from April 2015 to December 2015. Before that, they held the position of Vice President, Architecture at DataSong from May 2004 to April 2015. Neil started their career as a Principal Consultant at SAS from June 1997 to May 2004.

Neil Hillis earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 1983 to 1988. After completing their undergraduate studies, Neil pursued further education at UC Irvine, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Physics from 1988 to 1996.
