Brian Zhou has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Brian is currently working at Liftoff, Inc. as a software engineer, where they lead greenfield projects focusing on auction and supply path optimization. Previously, they were the team lead of creative design, management, analytics, and A/B testing tools and infrastructure at the same company.
Before Liftoff, Brian worked at Clari as a senior software engineer from October 2013 to November 2014.
Prior to Clari, they were employed at Ooyala, where they held two roles. As a software engineer, they focused on developing Flash and HTML5 video players, performance optimization, and authorization. Brian also designed and built a server-side content stitching service for monetization of HLS VOD and live streams, as well as a D3-based data visualization library for interactive video analytics. Before that, Brian worked as a senior support engineer at Ooyala from January 2012 to August 2012.
Brian Zhou attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. During their time there, they focused on various fields of study, including Operations & Supply Chain Management, Economics & Strategy, Computer Science, and Psychology.
