Heena Thakker

Heena Thakker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Heena currently works as a Product Analyst at Liftoff Mobile, starting in 2022. Before that, they were a Project Manager at Microsoft from February 2020 to February 2021.

From 2017 to 2019, Heena worked as a Technical Business Systems Analyst at Daimler Trucks North America. During their time there, they served as the primary coordinator among various developer teams and successfully delivered a new feature critical to the customer expansion strategy. Heena also automated the application build and deployment process.

Prior to that, Heena was a Technical System Analyst at Athene USA from October 2014 to April 2017. One of their notable achievements was managing a time-critical technology migration and analyzing application and data inter-dependencies for a data center migration.

From January 2012 to September 2014, Heena worked as a Business System Analyst at Wyndham Hotel Group. In this role, they designed SOAP APIs for web services integration and identified root causes for incidents, defining standard operating procedures for resolution.

Heena's career began as a Software Developer at Tata Steel in Europe from April 2010 to December 2011. During this time, they wrote batch jobs to report inventory status and created online screens to support customer order entry and logistics systems.

Heena Thakker has a significant education history. Heena attended Calcutta Girls High School from 1992 to 2005, where they obtained their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science. Afterward, they pursued their B'Tech degree in Computer Science from RCCIIT, completing it from 2005 to 2009.

Heena furthered their studies by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2017 to 2021. During their time at the university, they also obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills. Heena completed the courses "CS 598: Practical Statistical Learning," "IS 531: Foundations of Data Curation," "Text Retrieval and Search Engines," and "Data Visualization" through Coursera in 2017 and 2018.

Before their pursuit of data science, Heena also obtained certifications in insurance-related courses. In 2015 and 2016, they obtained the certifications "LOMA 281" and "LOMA 291," respectively, from LOMA.
