Venkat Akkinepally

Venkat Akkinepally has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Venkat is currently working at Liftoff Mobile as a Product Manager - Machine Learning. Prior to that, they founded CreativSide Media, a video production company where they served as the Founder and Videographer. At Microsoft, Venkat held multiple roles including Product Manager 2, Product Manager, and Software Developer. Venkat led the launch of Microsoft Connected Cache (MCC), a large-scale edge caching solution, and played a key role in onboarding major Enterprises and ISPs. Venkat also worked closely with teams such as legal, compliance, privacy, and security to ensure the product's readiness. In addition, they created mocks and walkthroughs of customer experiences using Figma and published documentation on Microsoft Docs. Before Microsoft, Venkat worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where they automated the cluster configuration selection process for default accounts in the Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) team. Venkat also gained experience at Amazon as a Junior Software Developer II and Junior Software Developer I, where they worked on web development projects for the Kindle Team, including developing a DynamoDB schema and restructuring the Kindle Customer Service website. Venkat's early work experience includes serving as a User Interface (UI) Developer at VoiceBox, where they programmed the UI of a device that aimed to simplify communication for the elderly.

Venkat Akkinepally obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, which they completed between 2015 and 2019. In 2018, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
