Erik Torres Serrano

Erik Torres Serrano has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Erik currently serves as an Engineering Manager at LIFULL Connect since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Codurance as a Principal Software Craftsman from April 2017 to September 2019. From April 2016 to April 2017, they were a Senior Solution Architect at Everis Spain, S.L.U., responsible for deciding on technology solutions and ensuring their integration within the customer's IT environment.

Before that, Erik worked at the Institute of Instrumentation for Molecular Imaging (I3M) as a Technical Team Lead and Solution Architect from September 2006 to March 2016. Erik also had experience as a Senior Software Developer at the National Bioinformatics Center from 2003 to 2006 and as a Software Developer at the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology from 2000 to 2003.

Throughout their career, Erik has gained expertise in large-scale applications, bioinformatics, data analysis, and health applications.

Erik Torres Serrano completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry of radioactive materials from ISCTN - Instituto Superior de Ciencias y Tecnologías Nucleares, from 1995 to 2000. Erik then pursued a PhD in Computer Science at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), from 2006 to 2010.
