Shekhar Rajvanshy

Shekhar Rajvanshy has held various high-level engineering and leadership positions throughout their career. Shekhar currently serves as the Chief Engineering Officer at LigaData, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they were the SVP Engineering and R&D at Kontakt.io from January 2021 to 2022, where they led the R&D, AI/ML, and Engineering teams for their SaaS data analytics platform.

From 2019 to 2020, Shekhar was the SVP Engineering & Co-founder at Uptick Labs, where they led the engineering and professional services teams for their AI-powered SaaS Customer Success solution. Before that, they held the position of VP Engineering & Devops at Numerify (acquired by Digital.ai) from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they managed all engineering and devops activities for their AI-powered Business Analytics platform and purpose-built applications for IT.

Prior to Numerify, Shekhar worked at IBM from 2009 to 2015. Shekhar held the positions of Head of Development, Big Data Hadoop Platform & Cloud Computing from 2013 to 2015, and Head of Development, Operational Governance & Data Quality Products from 2009 to 2013. At IBM, they managed geographically diverse development organizations and led the development of InfoSphere BigInsights and InfoSphere Data Quality Tools.

Earlier in their career, Shekhar held senior engineering positions at Exeros Inc. (acquired by IBM), Promeria/Liquidprice.com (acquired by Ariba), BEA Systems Inc., RealCommunities Inc. (acquired by Mongoose Technologies), and Informix (acquired by IBM). In these roles, they were responsible for managing engineering teams, overseeing product development, and contributing to strategy and vision.

Shekhar Rajvanshy holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Shekhar also has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from California Lutheran University.
