Ted Way

Ted Way is an experienced executive in the field of product management and artificial intelligence, currently serving as VP and Chief Product Officer for Business AI Product Engineering at SAP, where the focus is on delivering advanced AI capabilities to enhance global business processes. Prior to this role, Ted Way held the position of Director of AI Foundation Models, emphasizing the transformative potential of generative AI. At Microsoft, Ted Way contributed significantly as Principal Product Manager Lead, overseeing the launch of generative AI features used by over 200,000 organizations and earlier led projects on hardware acceleration for AI and volume activation technologies. Ted Way's diverse experience also includes serving in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Taiwan and conducting innovative research as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where a PhD and an MS in Biomedical Engineering were earned.
