Trevor Chan

Trevor Chan has a extensive work experience in the field of optical engineering. Trevor currently works as the Principal Optical Engineer at Light Field Lab, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this, they were a Principal Engineer at CY Vision from August 2017 to May 2023. Trevor also worked as an Optical Engineer at Neophotonics from January 2013 to August 2017. Trevor has academic research experience as well, having worked as a Post Doctoral Researcher at UC Berkeley from March 2011 to December 2012, and at Korea University from September 2009 to September 2010. Earlier in their career, they served as a Research Assistant at the University of California, San Diego from September 2002 to April 2009.

Trevor Chan pursued their educational journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Alberta. Trevor attended this institution from 1998 until 2002. Continuing their dedication to knowledge and learning, Trevor then pursued further education at UC San Diego. From 2002 to 2009, they successfully completed a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
