Mike Dano

Mike Dano is an accomplished editorial director specializing in 5G and mobile strategies at Light Reading since January 2019. Previously, Mike served as the Editor in Chief for the Telecom Group at FierceMarkets, overseeing multiple publications including FierceWireless and FierceTelecom from 2009 to January 2019. During this time, Mike directed editorial content, managed live events, and implemented SEO strategies. Mike also held roles as Executive Editor and Managing Editor within the same organization, where responsibilities included content oversight and managing web traffic analysis. Prior experience includes serving as Online Editor and Reporter at RCR Wireless News, and as an intern reporter at both the Albuquerque Journal and Albuquerque Tribune. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism from The University of New Mexico.
