Courtney Christion-Forté

Courtney Christion-Forté has a diverse work experience in the dental field. Courtney is currently working as a Dental Assisting Instructor at Centura College-Norfolk since October 2022. Previously, Courtney worked at Lightwave Dental as a Finance Coordinator, where they focused on making quality dentistry financially accessible to patients and helping them with their treatment plans.

Before that, Courtney had a long tenure at Shannon Martin, DDS, where they held multiple roles. Courtney started in July 2015 as a Dental Assistant and later became a Treatment and Scheduling Coordinator in July 2018. Courtney remained in these positions until March 2022.

Courtney also worked as a Dental Assisting Instructor at Morrison Education Center for a brief period from January 2020 to April 2020. In their early career, they gained experience as a Dental Assistant at Thomas, Thomas, and Holwick from October 2012 to July 2015.

Furthermore, Courtney served as a Dental Assistant at Kempsville Gentle Dentistry, Lekshmi Mahesh DDS from May 2010 to October 2012, and as a Dental Assistant Intern at David T. Marshall, DDS from January 2010 to March 2010.

Courtney Christion-Forté obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in General Studies from Thomas Nelson Community College, which they attended from 2016 to 2018. In 2009 and 2010, they earned a Diploma in Dental Assisting/Assistant from Centura College-Norfolk. Currently, Courtney is enrolled at Hampton University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a major in General Business.
