Vanessa Thom has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles in the fashion and jewelry industry. Vanessa is currently the Head of Buying and Merchandising at Lightbox Jewelry since November 2021. Prior to that, Vanessa served as the Merchandising Manager for High Jewelry at Harry Winston from January 2020 to November 2021. Vanessa also worked as a Senior Analyst in Merchandising for High Jewelry at the same company from October 2018 to January 2020.

Vanessa gained experience at Victoria's Secret Direct as a Merchant Assistant for Dresses from December 2012 to November 2013. Vanessa briefly worked as an E-Commerce Coordinator at Lord & Taylor from September 2012 to December 2012. Additionally, Vanessa had a production internship at Christopher Kane from May 2011 to July 2011.

Vanessa Thom obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising & Design from the University of Rhode Island, attending from 2008 to 2012. In 2017, they participated in the Hudson Bay Company- Executive Merchandising Training Program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Additionally, Vanessa obtained the Applied Jewelry Professional™ certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in January 2020.
