M.D. Asadul Islam

Md Asadul Islam is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and machine learning. Currently employed at LightBox since October 2022, previous positions include Senior Software Engineer (Machine Learning) at People.ai, where contributions included re-training a Named Entity Recognition model on 1.2 million activities. Prior to that, as a Machine Learning Engineer at Scribendi, an end-to-end pipeline for text extraction was developed for various machine learning applications. Additional experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at London Hydro focusing on time series forecasting, a Software Engineer at Tree Time Services Inc., a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, and a Lecturer at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology.
