Joanne Sofia

Joanne Sofia, CFE, has a strong background in operations and leadership roles. Joanne currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Lightbridge Academy, a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Vice President of Operations at Lightbridge Academy from November 2018 to December 2020. Before joining Lightbridge Academy, they were the Vice President of Company Center Operations at the same company from May 2016 to October 2018.

Before their time at Lightbridge Academy, Joanne worked at Wilton Brands as the Vice President of Educational Marketing from November 2013 to April 2016.

Their career started at Huntington Learning Centers, where they worked for a significant amount of time. Joanne held the role of Vice President of Franchise and Company Center Operations from an unknown start date to September 2013.

Joanne Sofia, CFE, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Communication from James Madison University. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) certification from the International Franchise Association in December 2020.
