Nick Baker

Nick Baker has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Chief Operating Officer at Lighter Capital since September 2020. Before that, they worked as a Venture Associate at NAB Ventures from January 2019 to September 2020. Prior to that, they were an Investment Associate at Myer Family Investments from June 2017 to February 2019. Nick also gathered experience as an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs from July 2015 to June 2017 and as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at the same company in the summer of 2014. Nick Baker began their professional career as a Lead Corporate Analyst at Global Media & Sports from May 2012 to June 2013, then worked as a Consultant at PwC from April 2010 to May 2012. Finally, they gained experience as a member of the Australian Rowing Team at Rowing Australia from April 2007 to December 2011.

Nick Baker completed their Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Bachelor of Economics in Finance from the University of Tasmania from 2003 to 2008. Nick then pursued a Masters in Accounting from the same institution from 2008 to 2009. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they attended the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Honours.
