Andrey K. has over 14 years of experience in mechanical engineering. In 2020 they began working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at LTA Research and Exploration. Prior to this, they were a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at a Startup Project - Automotive from 2016-2020. During this time, they conceptualized, designed, and prototyped an easy-to-use, light-weight, and low-cost solution that enabled unassisted flat tire replacement. Andrey also performed product market and technology research in plastics and other raw materials, as well as executed FEA testing with SolidWorks to ensure product integrity. From 2015-2016, Andrey K. was a R&D Mechanical Design Engineer at Krausz Industries Ltd, where they developed new products and prototypes for the piping industry and planned, designed, and supervised the first prototype of the ‘Insulating Joint’ project. From 2012-2015, they were a Manufacturing Engineer at M. Barzilay LTD, where they produced electro-mechanical packaging details for military and civilian applications and developed a process to ensure compliance with the manufacturing drawings. From 2010-2012, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer at Tamhash Metal & Electricity Industries Ltd, where they designed electrical cabinet and enclosure assemblies for indoor and outdoor applications. Andrey also designed and developed all the mechanical parts of the cabinet, and designed and performed thermal analysis on the electrical parts of the cabinet. From 2006-2010, Andrey K. was a CNC Machine Tool Setup Operator at Bet Shemesh Engines Ltd., where they became proficient on all CNC milling machines within 6 months and produced low tolerance, high precision engine parts for a variety of aircraft projects. Prior to this, they were a CNC Machine Tool Setup Operator at IAI from 2005-2006, where they worked on large 3-axis CNC milling machines with 2 or 3 head spindles and produced high precision aluminum details that were designated for the aircraft body on numerous IAI projects.

Andrey K. earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from SCE - Shamoon College of Engineering between 2008 and 2012. In 2017, they completed a Software Development Bootcamp in .NET environment from Sela Group, earning a Diploma.
