Lighter Than Air
Brandon Free began their work experience in 2017 as a University Graduate Fellow at The Ohio State University College of Engineering. Brandon then served as a Graduate Research Associate from August 2018 to January 2023. During their time at the university, Brandon also held positions as a Graduate Teaching Associate for Introduction to Engineering Materials in 2019 and 2020. In January 2023, Brandon joined LTA Research as a Senior Mechanical Test Engineer, where they currently work.
Brandon Free completed their education in chronological order. Brandon attended New Philadelphia High School from 2009 to 2013, where they earned their high school diploma. Brandon then pursued higher education at Miami University from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics and Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they attended The Ohio State University from 2017 to 2022, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science and Engineering.
