Crystel Tohme

Crystel Tohme has a diverse work experience. Crystel began their career in 2016 as a Lifeguard at Hastings Water Works. In 2017, they took on the role of Lifeguard at the Strongsville Recreation Complex. In 2018, they were a Dance Instructor at Time to Dance and a Camp Counselor at the Strongsville Recreation Complex. In 2019, they became a Student Assistant at The University of Akron. In 2021, they were a Technical Lead: Recovery at the Akronauts Rocket Design Team, a Standard Products Engineering Intern at Graco, and a Code Sensei at Code Ninjas. In 2022, they are currently a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at LTA Research and Exploration.

Crystel Tohme is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Akron, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2024. Prior to this, they obtained a High School Diploma from Strongsville High School in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a Machine Shop Training certification from Tooling U-SME in 2021 and an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate (Additional Specialties) from the American Red Cross in 2019.
