Alfred Griffin is the Founder and CEO of LightForce Ortho, a digital platform providing orthodontists with fully customized, 3D printed tooth-moving tools.

Dr. Griffin has been involved in orthodontics and teeth-related research for over 10 years. Alfred began their career as a research intern at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) in 2006. After completing their internship, they went on to co-found LightForce Orthodontics in 2015.

In addition to their work at LightForce, Dr. Griffin has also served as an Alumni in Residence at MassChallenge and as a Venturer in Residence at Harvard Innovation Lab.

Alfred Griffin has a certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, an MMSc in orthodontics residency program from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, a DMD in craniofacial biology from Medical University of South Carolina, and a BS in biochemistry from University of Virginia. Alfred is also a diplomate from The American Board of Orthodontics and an Invisalign certified provider.
