Jamie Elliott

Jamie Elliott has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Program Developer and Volunteer Coordinator at Special Olympics Ontario, where they were responsible for recruiting, organizing, and supervising volunteer groups. They also wrote grants and created content for online course modules. In 2016, they transitioned to a role as a Front-End Developer at Rogers Communications, where they developed, tested, and deployed responsive campaign pages and refactored legacy code to improve website performance.

In 2017, Jamie became a Technical Delivery Manager at Rogers Communications, overseeing development teams and planning agile projects. They also served as a Technical Project Lead for the 2018 iPhone launch, ensuring a successful product launch. In 2018, Jamie joined Lightful as a Software Engineer, contributing to the company until December 2020. Jamie Elliott completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in English Literature and a minor in Theatre Studies at Dalhousie University from 2010 to 2014. In 2016, Jamie attended Juno College (formerly HackerYou) where they completed an immersive frontend coding bootcamp, focusing on Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. In 2017, Jamie briefly attended OCAD University to study User experience and user interface design in the field of Digital Media.
