Miikka Ahonen

Miikka Ahonen has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Miikka co-founded Lightheart Entertainment in 2019. Prior to that, they worked for Rovio Entertainment Corporation from 2011 to 2019, where they held roles such as Product Lead/Executive Producer, Product Manager/Sr. Product Manager, and Portfolio Manager. As a Portfolio Manager, they were responsible for overseeing Rovio's stage-gate process. Miikka joined Rovio as an Analyst when the company had fewer than 80 employees and worked in various roles, including running the Angry Birds e-commerce operation and defining IP strategy. Before their time at Rovio, they worked as a Freelance Writer/Journalist for Suomen Paikallissanomat from 2005 to 2008. Miikka also had experiences as a Head Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and as an Associate Technical Product Manager at Itella Information Oy. At Aalto University, they led a group of assistants and taught a course on Industrial Management, while at Itella Information Oy, they were the product owner for a global print management product and wrote technical documentation related to electronic invoicing.

Miikka Ahonen pursued their education at Aalto University, where they obtained their B.Sc. (Tech.) with Honors in Industrial Engineering and Management from 2008 to 2011. Later, they continued their studies at the same institution and achieved an M.Sc. (Tech.) with Distinction in Industrial Management from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, Miikka Ahonen holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
