Dasha Merkusheva

Daria Merkusheva has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daria worked as an Editorial Director at Lighthouse Creative Group from January 2023 to present. Prior to that, they were a Senior Editor from August 2021 to January 2023 at the same company. Daria also has extensive freelance experience, working as an Editor and Technical Writer from 2010 to September 2021. In addition, they were an Editor at ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) from February 2019 to April 2020, where they edited, wrote, and published articles and infographics. Daria also produced and edited podcasts. Further, Daria worked as a Freelance Technical Writer at Foursquare from 2017 to September 2018. Daria has a background in journalism, having worked as a Freelance Reporter for BBC News from 2009 to 2010 and as a Senior Producer from 2002 to 2009. Daria also worked as a Freelance Reporter for Radio Netherlands from 2009 to 2010 and as a Correspondent for BNA from 2001 to 2003. Daria began their career as a Freelance Reporter for Moscow Times in 2001.

Daria Merkusheva pursued their education in Journalism and Philosophy, earning their MSc degree in Journalism from Boston University in 2001. Prior to that, they obtained their BA degree in Philosophy from McGill University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
