Jennison Asuncion is an experienced professional in digital accessibility and inclusive design, currently serving as the Head of Accessibility Engineering Evangelism and Engineering Manager for Accessibility at LinkedIn since November 2013. Jennison has led efforts to enhance accessibility within technology, managing teams focused on developing supportive tools for professionals with disabilities. Additional contributions include membership on the National Health Equity Advisory Board at CVS Health, serving as Vice Chair of the GAAD Foundation, and involvement with various organizations such as the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Bay Area Accessibility and Inclusive Design Meetup. Jennison is also a co-founder of Global Accessibility Awareness Day and has held key positions within the Adaptech Research Network, Knowbility, and Accessible Media Inc. An academic background includes an M.A. in Educational Technology and a B.A. in Political Science from Concordia University.

Founded in 1902, San Francisco’s LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired promotes the independence, equality and self-reliance of people who are blind or have low vision. We offer blindness skills training and relevant services such as access to employment, education, government, information, recreation, transportation and the environment. We also pursue the development of new technology, encourage innovation, and amplify the voices of blind individuals around the world.
