Cesar Alvarez

Cesar Alvarez has extensive experience in the investment and regulatory sectors, currently serving as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) at Lighthouse Investment Partners, LLC since September 2008, where previous roles included Deputy CCO, Assistant CCO, Compliance Manager, and Legal & Compliance Administrator. Prior to this, Cesar worked at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) from April 2000 to August 2008, holding positions such as Manager for Market Manipulation Investigations, Senior Regulatory Analyst focusing on Trading Analysis, and Customer Service Representative for the Central Registration Depository. Cesar also gained experience as an intern at UN ECLAC in 1998. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland.
