Art Espey has diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2002, they served as the COO of Power Process Piping, Inc., where they were responsible for strategic guidance and daily operations. During their tenure, they successfully grew the company into a top 100 industry player. From 2006 to 2008, they held the position of Vice Chairman at the American Red Cross - Southeastern Michigan Chapter. In 2010, Art joined Green Duck as COO, a company dedicated to distributing environmentally-friendly goods and providing sustainable solutions. Art then served as the Vice Chair of Lighthouse Labs RVA from 2015 to 2018. In 2014, Art founded Paladin Global Services, LLC, offering strategic advisory to startup and middle market companies. Art authored a book series called "The Misfit Champion's Sustainable Business Series." Additionally, Art worked as a Strategic Advisor at TMI Consulting Inc. from 2011 onwards. Art founded Choza in 2018, a company with upcoming brands cigarcaves.com and zencaves.com. In 2023, they took on the role of Managing Director at Lighthouse Labs RVA. Art's extensive experience in leadership and strategic advisory roles showcases their expertise in various industries.
Art Espey completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation at the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 1979 to 1983. Art then pursued a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Technology at Eastern Michigan University from 1989 to 1992. Lastly, Art Espey attained a Master of Arts degree in International Relations with a focus on Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 2010 to 2012.
