Parker began their career at Allrecipes.com in October 2017 as a software engineering manager. Kenneth was responsible for managing onshore and remote teams of software engineers that maintained the website. During their time at Allrecipes.com, Parker oversaw a mobile performance rebuild of the site that improved recipe page render time by 15 seconds on slower mobile phones. Kenneth also reduced page download size, enabling a 27% increase in ad impressions per visit without affecting traffic. In addition, Parker rebuilt the Allrecipes REST API to support 7.5 million requests per month from Amazon's Alexa service.

In November 2018, Parker joined Meredith Corporation as a software engineering manager. During their time at Meredith, they regrew the team from 3 to 6 across Seattle and Bangalore. Kenneth also setup the interview process, worked with recruiters, adjusted job descriptions, and managed the funnel. In addition, Parker hired and onboarded 3 junior engineers and promoted 2 more experienced engineers. Kenneth also proposed and supervised the development of a unified authentication and account system for the firm's 150+ million user accounts across 30+ sites including People.com, EW.com, and Allrecipes.com. Additionally, Parker directed OAuth2 vendor selection and build vs buy analysis shifting the plan to buying an authentication solution.
