Jon Goss has an extensive work experience in the field of lighting design and operations. Jon started their career in 2002 as an Assistant Master Electrician at The Glimmerglass Festival, where they led a team of 10 electricians and was responsible for load-in, focus, changeovers, and strike. From 2008 to 2013, Jon worked as the Head Electrician - ZBOH at Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Jon'smain responsibilities included supervising load-ins, set-ups, running shows, and load-outs for various productions. Jon also supervised the electrics crew and ensured safety standards were met.

In 2013, Jon worked as a Freelance Programmer at The Lighting Design Group. Jon set up and programmed ETC Gio lighting consoles for television news programs in multiple studios and newsrooms. Jon also programmed consoles for a Univision Fusion studio installation.

Currently, Jon holds the position of Director of Equipment Operations at The Lighting Design Group, which they started in October 2022.
