Mike Grabowski

Mike Grabowski is a seasoned lighting professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. As Co-Chair and Vice Chair of the Jersey City Arts Council since September 2017, and a member of the Board of Trustees, Grabowski demonstrates strong leadership in the arts community. Concurrently, Grabowski has served as a Senior Lighting Designer at Lighting Design Group and as a Lighting Designer for MTV since August 2007. Previous positions include Lighting Director at iN Demand/Howard Stern On Demand and Production Coordinator/CNN Lighting Manager at Lighting Design Group. With a background as a Special Effect Designer providing consultation for theatre projects, Grabowski brings a diverse skill set to entertainment design. Educational credentials include a BFA in Entertainment Design/Technology with an emphasis in Lighting from Purchase College, SUNY, and attendance at Abington Friends School.
