Julie Masucci

Julie joined Lightkeeper from Battery Ventures where she was the senior tax associate. At Battery, she was responsible for analyzing partnership documentation to determine tax implications, reviewed tax returns for internal partnerships and corporations, handled quarterly inventory of all deals, and managed all deliverables. Julie handled investor questions on all reporting matters and communicated with portfolio companies regarding their tax compliance.

Prior to Battery Ventures, Julie started her career at Ernst & Young where she spent 5 years in the Financial Services Office group. She primarily handled the tax planning and compliance engagements for high net worth individual, trust and estate tax. She also prepared and reviewed complex federal partnership returns for large hedge funds and private equity funds.

Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Merrimack College, Girard School of Business with a concentration in Accounting. She earned her Master of Science in Accounting from Suffolk University, Sawyer Business School. Originally from Salem, MA, Julie currently lives in Charlestown with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, Julie enjoys traveling, going for long walks around Boston, and most importantly spending time with her family.
