Colin Sturt

Colin Sturt serves as General Counsel at Lightmatter, where innovative light-based technologies are developed to enhance silicon chip communication for demanding workloads like AI. Colin also holds advisory roles with Silicon Catalyst and is a Charter Member of TechGC, fostering a community for General Counsel. Previously, Colin was Senior Vice President - General Counsel at Dialog Semiconductor, overseeing legal and compliance for a UK public company with significant global operations. Colin's experience includes serving as Vice President - Corporate Development, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Micrel, Inc., managing legal and corporate development matters, and leading domestic and international acquisitions. Early career experience includes roles at Davis Polk & Wardwell as an attorney and at National Semiconductor Corp. as Manager & Internal Consultant. Colin Sturt earned a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School and multiple degrees from Brigham Young University.
