James Parrish

James Parrish was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lightning Asset Management in December of 2017.

Parrish is a motivated and innovative individual who has had a passion for investments since age 11. His routine consists of waking up early in the morning, having coffee, reading news articles, and checking S&P 500 futures. Parrish eats healthy. His favorite meal is Guacamole Greens from Sweet Green, which he eats for lunch a few times per week. Parrish usually lifts or plays hockey in the afternoon. He is a go-getter, who is always looking for an edge on the competition in the marketplace. Parrish has put everything on the line in starting his own business.

Parrish received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Hampshire in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He has passed the CFA Level 1, CMT Level 1, and Series 65 exams.
