Kara Manning

Kara Manning is a seasoned professional in the lighting industry with extensive experience in sales, design, and consultation. Currently serving as a National Commercial Sales representative at Lightology since August 2018, Kara assists trade accounts including architects, designers, and contractors with lighting selections on a national scale, showcasing expertise in lighting systems and specifications. Previously, Kara held the position of Contract/LSR Outside Sales at PG Enlighten from June 2016 to July 2018, where responsibilities included developing relationships with design professionals and supporting project specifications. Kara's foundational experience at Lightology spanned over 13 years, where roles included Certified Lighting Consultant and focused on residential and commercial lighting design as well as advanced low voltage expertise. Additional experience as a Buyer & Showroom Coordinator at Pier 1 Imports contributed to a comprehensive understanding of retail and visual merchandising. Kara Manning holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from The Art Institutes, earned between 1999 and 2002.
