Andrei Xydas

Andrei Xydas is an experienced investment professional specializing in growth-equity within the climate tech sector. Currently serving as VP at Lightrock since September 2024, Xydas previously held the position of Principal at Blume Equity from May 2022 to September 2024, where key investments included Normative, Aerones, Masmart, and Elvie. Xydas has also been involved with various companies as an investor and board observer, such as at neustark, Sensorfact, and Aerones. Notably, Xydas supported a $200 million license bid for Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC and invested $220 million in Liquid Intelligent Technologies. Xydas's educational background includes a combined degree in Law and Economics from the University of Melbourne, and a distinguished academic record from St Mary's Anglican Girls' School.
