Vanessa Misoon

Vanessa Misoon is the Director of Communications at Lightship Foundation, overseeing brand messaging and promoting equitable access to government funds and venture capital for minority entrepreneurs since October 2018. Previously, Vanessa served as Director of Communications at Kairos from September 2015 to October 2018, where important guidelines on face recognition technology were developed, and collaborative thought leadership was published addressing algorithmic bias. Vanessa holds an Associate of Science in Mortuary Science from John A. Gupton College and a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Penn State University.
