Marina I.

Marina I. is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Lightship Security, Inc. since February 2021, after previous experience as a Cyber Security Consultant. Prior to this role, Marina I. worked as a Cyber Security Research Assistant at the University of Victoria from September 2018 to February 2021, and as a Lead Security Engineer at Ibrius Inc. from March 2012 to August 2017. Early career experience includes a position as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst at ACD Systems from October 2011 to March 2012. Marina I. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria, as well as a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Information Security & Telecommunications, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Alberta.
