Anushka Loomba

Anushka Loomba has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Anushka currently holds the position of Director of Strategic Operations and Chief of Staff at Lightship®, a virtual-first clinical trial company. Prior to this, they served as an Associate Director of Expansion at Lightship®, where they played a crucial role in developing and implementing the company's virtual clinical trial model.

Before joining Lightship®, Anushka worked at PA Consulting, where they held various roles. As a Principal Consultant, they worked with top global pharmaceutical companies on crisis management, business continuity, and compliance initiatives. Anushka also designed and implemented privacy operating models and supported GDPR compliance efforts. In earlier roles at PA Consulting, Anushka focused on product launch planning and key account management capability development for leading global pharmaceutical companies.

Anushka's early career included a role as a Trainee Nutritionist at HealthAid, where they conducted market research and competitor analysis for a nutritional supplement targeting Type II diabetes. Anushka also gained insights into the pharmaceutical industry through a rotational training program at Rusan Pharma Ltd, where they primarily worked in the Quality Assurance department.

Anushka Loomba attended Imperial College London from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry. Anushka then pursued a Joint Honours degree in Business Management at the Imperial College Business School from 2012 to 2013. Prior to their university education, Anushka studied at Queens College London from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained their GCSE and A-Level qualifications.
