Aaron Chavez Phr

Aaron Chavez, PHR, SHRM-CP has a strong background in human resources, with experience spanning over 15 years. Aaron is currently the Head of Human Resources, Americas (Business Partner) at Lightsource BP since October 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the Sr. People (HR) Operations Project Manager at Pluralsight, where they successfully managed large cross-functional projects and change initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders. Aaron also held the position of Manager, Corporate (Regional) Human Resources at Management & Training Corporation for six years, during which they provided benefits support, engaged with employees and leaders to understand the company culture, and resolved complex employee relations issues. Earlier in their career, they worked at Whataburger in various HR and store operation roles, gaining valuable experience in recruiting, training, P&L management, and overall store operations management.

Aaron Chavez, PHR, SHRM-CP, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Resource Management from Weber State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained the Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute in January 2014 and the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in January 2015.
