Samantha Newman

Samantha Newman has over 25 years of experience in the field of HR and reward operations. Samantha is currently serving as the Global Head of Reward & HR Operations at Lightsource bp since January 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at Horizon Discovery, including Head of Reward & HR Operations from March 2018 to January 2021 and Global Head of Compensation & Benefits from April 2016 to January 2021. Samantha also worked at CSR as a Senior Manager, Global Shares Planning from April 2012 to March 2016. Samantha'searlier experience includes a senior tax manager role at PwC UK from February 1996 to April 2012.

Samantha Newman obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Leicester, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Samantha later pursued a qualification known as the Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification at the Chartered Institute of Taxation, completing it in 1999. Additionally, Samantha achieved a Legal Practice Diploma from De Montfort University, although the exact dates of their studies in this program are not specified.
