Blake Nelson

Blake Nelson is an experienced leader in the telecommunications and construction industries, currently serving as Vice President and General Manager at Lightspeed Construction Group, focusing on building advanced fiber networks in the Midwest since January 2023. Previously, Blake held significant roles at major companies including Comcast Cable, where as Senior Director of Construction, Blake led initiatives that grew the fiber network and significantly improved delivery times. At Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable), Blake successfully managed a large organization and oversaw a pivotal fiber deployment. Blake's career also includes directorial roles at Time Warner Cable and AT&T, with notable achievements in enhancing network reliability and managing multimillion-dollar projects. Blake is a West Point graduate and a former Captain in the US Army, having led an infantry company during Desert Storm.
