Lead Learning & Development at Liip

Benoît Pointet has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Benoît started their career in 2003 as a Digital Photography & Computer Graphics Assistant at CEPV, where they supported students and managed the computer lab. In 2004, they worked as a Web Designer, Developer & Consultant as a freelancer, collaborating with various enterprises and individuals. Benoît also worked as an Architecture & Corporate Communication Photographer at DGBP, specializing in architecture, corporate identity, and portrait photography.

In 2008, Benoît worked as a Sous-assistant at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg. In 2009, they became an External Lecturer, teaching Photography for Art Directors at Eracom. In 2011, they took on the role of an External Lecturer and taught Agile Web Partnerships to Bachelor students in Economics at HEG.

From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Web Developer, developing corporate websites and online platforms for various sectors. Benoît then became a Scrum Master at Liip, where they agilized and supported software development teams. In 2012, they became a User Experience Architect, developing UX services and coaching junior UX designers at Liip.

In 2014, Benoît became an External Lecturer at HES-SO Valais-Wallis, teaching User Experience Design to Bachelor students in Computer Systems. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Lead SEO & Analytics at Liip, advising clients on digital marketing strategies and implementing integrations.

In 2018, Benoît joined the School of Management Fribourg (HEG-FR) as an External Lecturer, teaching Search Engine Optimization. Benoît also worked as a Lead Learning & Development at Liip, focusing on organizational agility and self-organization practices. Benoît is currently working as a Holacracy & Self-Organisation Coach at Liip, inspiring and enabling Swiss organizations towards organizational agility through self-organization practices and patterns.

Benoît Pointet pursued their education in a diverse range of fields. Benoît first attended Collège Saint-Michel in Fribourg from 1993 to 1998, where they completed their Baccalauréat scientifique, a regular/general high school/secondary diploma program. While studying at Collège Saint-Michel, they also spent a year at Salida High School in 1995-1996, earning a diploma from the regular/general high school program.

After completing their high school education, Benoît Pointet enrolled at the School of Fine & Applied Arts in Vevey. Benoît obtained a Higher Photography Diploma from 1999 to 2002, specializing in art photography. Following this, they pursued an Advanced Photography Diploma from the same institution, graduating in 2003.

Continuing their educational journey, Benoît Pointet joined the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg in 2005 to study Computer Science and Mathematics. Benoît completed their Bachelor's degree in 2008 and immediately continued their studies at the same institution to earn a Master of Arts degree in Computer Science, which they accomplished in 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Benoît Pointet has also obtained several certifications. In 2011, they became a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) through Scrum Alliance and obtained the Professional Scrum Master I credential from Scrum.org. In 2013, they acquired both the Google Adwords Search Certification and Google Analytics Certification. In 2014, they attained the Internet Marketing Fundamentals Practitioner Certificate and the Web Analytics Practitioner Certificate. More recently, in 2018, they became a Certified Holacracy Coach through HolacracyOne. In 2020, they completed the ICAgile Coaching Agile Transitions (ICP-CAT) - Lean Change Management certification from ICAgile.
