Gerhard Andrey has a diverse work experience. Gerhard currently serves as a National Councillor for Die Bundesversammlung - Das Schweizer Parlament since December 2019. Gerhard is also a Co-Founder and Board Member of Liip since 2007. Additionally, they hold the position of Board Member at Alternative Bank Schweiz since 2017. In 2018, they co-founded La Gustav and serves as its President. Gerhard Andrey pursued their education chronologically in various institutions. From 1996 to 2000, they attended Berner Fachhochschule BFH, where they received their degree as an Engineer HTL in Wood Engineering. In 2001, they enrolled at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg for a year, completing their degree as an Informatiker NDK in the field of Informatik. In 2008, Gerhard Andrey obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance. Gerhard further expanded their education in 2015 by attending HolacracyOne where they became a Holacracy Practitioner. Lastly, in 2016, they completed the Holacracy Coaching Training also from HolacracyOne.
