Jermaine Hunt

Jermaine (Jay) Hunt has a diverse work experience in legal and corporate roles. Jermaine (Jay) is currently the SVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Likewize, a global tech protection and support company. Prior to this, they served as the Acting General Counsel at Adani Group, where they led a legal team and managed outside counsel for solar development and engineering. Jermaine (Jay) also worked as the Director of Alternative Finance, Counsel at Adani Group, handling financing for utility-scale renewable energy projects. Previously, Hunt served as the VP & General Counsel at Adam Plus Company, LLC, overseeing legal matters for various ventures. Jermaine (Jay) gained experience as a Legal Counsel Consultant at JPMorgan Chase & Co., providing counsel on regulatory compliance. Additionally, they worked as the CEO & General Counsel at Carthage Pacific, an investment advisory and legal services firm. Hunt has also held positions at the City of Dallas, Energy Future Holdings, Husch Blackwell, Walmart, and Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson. Jermaine (Jay) Hunt attended Southwestern University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Business Administration, and Political Science. Jermaine (Jay) then went on to study at the University of Arkansas School of Law from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. In 2007, they also briefly attended William & Mary Law School to further their studies in International Law and Legal Studies.
