Joshua Lee has a diverse work experience in various roles. Joshua is currently an Incoming Process Engineer at Lilac Solutions, Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Project Manager for the Zinc-Air Battery Team at ChemE Car at Berkeley, where they taught a team to build batteries and conducted failure analysis. Joshua also has research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Peidong Yang Group at the University of California, Berkeley, College of Chemistry, where they synthesized carbon nanoflower particles and evaluated the effectiveness of nanowires and metal coatings on Si wafers. Previously, they were a Battery Engineering Intern at Enzinc, where they manufactured zinc anodes and optimized pouch cell performance. Additionally, Joshua served as the Media/Publicity Committee Chair for the Berkeley Chapter of the American Chemical Society, increasing their Instagram following and engagement. Joshua also has experience as a Private Tutor, helping K-12 students improve their grades and developing customized curricula. Joshua's early work experience includes being a Data Analysis Intern at GRACE MEDICAL INSTITUTE, where they analyzed gene expression patterns in brain neurons.

Joshua Lee completed their education at the University of California, Berkeley from 2019 to 2023, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Newport Senior High School from 2015 to 2019 and earned their High School Diploma. In addition to their formal education, Joshua also obtained additional certifications, including "Exploring Renewable Energy Schemes" from Coursera in February 2021, and "R Programming" from Coursera in July 2018.
