Axel Junski

Axel Junski is an experienced export control and compliance professional with a strong background in developing organizational structures for export control in various companies. Currently serving as Senior Export Control Officer and Compliance Officer at Lilium since March 2020, Axel is responsible for creating a global export control framework and addressing compliance and ESG issues, including the German Supply Chain Act. Prior to Lilium, Axel held the position of Export Control Officer at EagleBurgmann, where responsibilities included leading export control initiatives across 60 subsidiaries, and at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, focusing on complex export cases related to military and dual-use technologies. Axel's legal expertise is supported by a law degree from the University of Bayreuth and mediator training from the Institut für Mediation und Beziehungsmanagement.
