Enrique Maldonado

Enrique Maldonado is an experienced Electric VTOL Flight Control Engineer at Lilium since April 2023, contributing to the development of advanced flight control systems for eVTOL aircraft aimed at sustainable regional air mobility. As a Co-Founder and President at Minka and Co-Founder and Project Leader at Wooby, Enrique has demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership. Prior experience at Airbus UpNext involved leading a five-person team in designing autonomous aircraft systems, while previous roles at Airbus focused on autopilot flight control laws for the A350 program. Enrique began a career in aviation with an internship in the Flight Control Laws Department at Airbus and holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Automation from ENSEEIHT, along with an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
