Mattia Nardi

Mattia Nardi is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in leading testing divisions and teams. Currently serving as the Head of Laboratory & Experimental Tests at Lilium since May 2019, Mattia is responsible for managing a team of over 100 engineers and overseeing research and testing for aircraft components and systems, while establishing advanced testing capabilities. Previous roles include Head of Laboratory Testing and Team Leader for Structural & Environmental Tests at Lilium, as well as Team Leader for Structural Tests and Head of Test and Prototype Assembly Organization at UMBRAGROUP. Mattia's expertise encompasses multidisciplinary team leadership, project management, budget control, and collaboration with renowned institutions. Educational qualifications include a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
