Moritz Jung

Moritz Jung is a mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace sector, currently on parental leave from Lilium until October 2025. At Lilium, Moritz serves as the Principal Engineer and Fuselage System Lead, guiding the design and development of the Lilium Jet's fuselage, doors, and windows, while also mentoring design engineers. Previous roles include Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lilium, and Composite Design Engineer at Reiner Stemme Utility Air Systems GmbH, where Moritz focused on composite materials for aircraft structures. Moritz's early career includes positions at EADS, Eurocopter, and the University of Stuttgart, culminating in a Master of Science in Aircraft Design from Cranfield University. Moritz has also contributed to technical committees and participated in international aerospace events as Vice President of EUROAVIA Stuttgart.
