Sarah Touhami

Sarah Touhami is a Senior Propulsion Systems Engineer at Lilium since August 2022, specializing in electric machine design, system engineering, supplier management, and rigorous design reviews including PDR and CDR. Sarah's expertise encompasses verification and validation (V&V) processes in accordance with DO-160 and ARP 4754 standards, as well as adherence to IEEE and IEC standards, technical documentation, and FEA simulations using ANSYS Maxwell and Flux Altair. Prior to this role, Sarah completed a PhD at Toulouse INP, focusing on analytical sizing models for high specific power electric motors in hybrid aircraft as part of the HASTECS project. Previously, Sarah worked as a research engineer at Laplace Laboratory, collaborating with Airbus on electric motor technologies and sizing induction machines for industrial projects. Sarah's academic foundation includes an Electrical and Automatics Engineering degree from ENSEEIHT.
