Jon Pacheco is an experienced ceramics instructor and coordinator with a strong background in ceramic arts and metal craftsmanship. Currently serving as a Ceramics Instructor at Fine Line Creative Arts Center and Lillstreet Art Center since 2019 and 2016, respectively, Jon specializes in sculpture and wheel throwing techniques. As the Ceramic Lab Coordinator at Waubonsee Community College since 2013, responsibilities include managing raw materials, assisting students, and overseeing kiln operations. Jon also teaches at Clayspace and has a history of roles ranging from Operations Intern to Bench Jeweler, showcasing versatility and expertise in various aspects of ceramic and jewelry work. Jon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramic Arts and Metal and Jewelry Arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
