Focrun Nahar

Focrun Nahar serves as the Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility in the Student Affairs department at LIM College since August 2022, where responsibilities include developing and managing the DEIA Center to support student engagement and inclusivity. Prior experience includes a role as an Oracle ERP Analyst at Deloitte, assisting in system integration testing, and positions at Columbia Business School and the State University of New York College of Optometry, focusing on academic affairs, institutional research, and program coordination. Nahar's background also features experience with the NYC Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, where coordination and management of STEM initiatives were key tasks. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from The City College of New York.
