Xinya Zhou

Xinya Zhou is an accomplished cellist with extensive performance experience, currently serving as a Substitute Cellist with Niagara Symphony Orchestra since November 2021. Xinya holds the position of Section Cello with Lima Symphony Orchestra since October 2017, and has played with several other orchestras, including Ohio Valley Symphony Orchestra, Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, BLUE ASH-MONTGOMERY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, and Cedarville University Symphony Orchestra. Xinya's career includes a tenure as Principal Cello at Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra and Bowling Green State University, as well as a role as Section Cello with Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Musical Arts in Cello Performance from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Music from Bowling Green State University, and a Bachelor of Music from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Additionally, Xinya has been a cellist with the TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, INC. since October 2015.
